After the Nephites’ great victory in ejecting their enemies
completely from their lands, we see Moroni redoubling efforts to strengthen
their cities in preparation for future battles.
Do we do those daily things required to fortify ourselves against the
constant attacks of the adversary? Later,
the Lamanites again gained some ground over the Nephites because of another
round of internal intrigues and dissensions among them. Let us watch ourselves internally, and see to
those daily strengthenings we need such as prayer and scripture study. Such simple things, but so very, very
important.
